Welcome to the RANZCO New Zealand Branch Meeting
On behalf of the organisers of the 2010 Meeting of the New Zealand branch of RANZCO, I am delighted to invite you to participate in the Meeting.
The Meeting will be held 13 - 16 May 2010 at Te Papa in Wellington.
The theme for the meeting is “21st Century Ophthalmology – from the lab to the clinic” with an emphasis on new treatment and diagnostic technologies which have either just entered clinical use or will do so in the future.
All our invited speakers are at the leading edge of their subspecialties. Our invited speakers include Dr Lyndon da Cruz, retinal subspecialist and Keith Martin, glaucoma subspecialist, both from the UK; and Professor Donald Tan, cornea and anterior segment subspecialist, from Singapore.
In addition to the ophthalmology meeting, concurrent ophthalmic nurses’, orthoptists’ and practice managers' meetings will be held at the same venue. We anticipate up to 300 consultant ophthalmologists and registrars, orthoptists, ophthalmic technicians, ophthalmic nurses and practice managers will attend the Meeting.
We look forward to welcoming you to Wellington for the 2010 Meeting.
